Living In Asia is dedicated to urban development in Asia. The site covers topics such as construction, urban design, heritage conservation, notable architecture, infrastructure, and transport in cites of Southeast and East Asia.
Where in Asia?
The site will initially cover the cities I visit most in Asia: Saigon, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong. Over time I will add more cities from East Asia: Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai.
What this site provides
I’ve put this site together to put information (good and bad) in one place. I’ve found that project information can be fractured across several sites, or be too much of a sales pitch (when on real estate sites). This site doesn’t offer investment advice on real estate projects.
I have been running an online media business while travelling the world since 2003. My first time to Southeast Asia was to in Cambodia and Vietnam in 2005, and I have returned to the region every year since. I’m currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, and you can read about my travels at nomadicnotes.com.
I’m available for speaking at conferences and events about rail transport major construction projects in Southeast Asia. Contact me for availability.
