One Bangkok – New urban development in Lumphini

January 20, 2020 By James Clark Leave a Comment

One Bangkok

One Bangkok is a new urban development in central Bangkok. This mixed-use development will include offices, retail space, luxury hotels, residences, and cultural and social spaces. The site will include a 430-metre, 90-storey signature tower.

This enormous parcel of land was previously the site of the Suan Lum Night Bazaar, providing a rare opportunity to create such a big project in a central location. The development is estimated to cost USD 3.8 billion (THB 120 billion). The site area is 16.70 hectares and it is expected to be completed in 2025.

Location

One Bangkok Map

One Bangkok is located at the corner of Rama IV Road and Witthayu Road (Wireless Road) in the Lumphini Subdistrict of Pathum Wan District. The site is opposite Lumphini Park and it’s accessible from Lumphini Station on the MRT Blue Line via Exit 3. The northern end is bounded by the Wireless Road Embassy lane, which is home to the Embassy of Japan, the Australian Embassy, and Alliance Francaise Bangkok.
